Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our leadership team, to lead our organization’s operational delivery and to drive improved product, customer and supply chain processes as we scale our company to substantial revenue in international markets.

This key role, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and interfacing daily with all members of the executive management team, is pivotal to the maturing of the company’s operations following our latest investment round.  You will maintain control of diverse business operations, so you will be an experienced and driven leader. If you also have excellent people skills, strong commercial acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you.

Key Deliverables:

  •        Ensure our products reach customers with the right quality, at the right time and at the optimum cost
  •        Design and continually improve the business processes such that the business can scale quickly, efficiently and sustainably
  •       Support the drive for growth through the business by close collaboration with Sales, Research and Product Development ensuring measurement and achievements of targets set
  •       Deliver on international growth of the team whilst maintaining strong cultural unity


  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures?
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Sales, Marketing, Tech, Software etc.)
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Manage the HR function to ensure high quality recruitment, objectives management and employee development.
  • Develop and control all operational budgets to ensure that the company has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters and to maintain the financial strength of the company.
  • Manage supply chain, from contract governance through to logistics.
  • Develop and maintain all necessary systems and procedures to ensure that company operations comply with all legal requirements and meet agreed operational standards.


  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
  • Working knowledge of Far East manufacturing and supply chains
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues, build consensus among groups of diverse stakeholders
