We seek an engineer with knowledge of mechanical engineering to expand our new product line – the SABRe reactor enables transferring batch chemistry to continuous processing to save manufacturing costs and lead towards Net Zero.
Stoli Chem are an award-winning spin-out from the University of Warwick. We have clients in the chemicals industries ranging from pharma to bulk chemicals.
You will join our small team of chemists and engineers to make a real difference and develop new products. To scale up our reactors from laboratory to pilot scale and beyond. We are looking for an engineer with strong knowledge of mechanical engineering. The key requirements are the ability and knowledge of a CAD software, preparing production drawings, and generating new design ideas while understanding cost implications. Hands-on working is the key as you will be involved in assembly as well as prototyping including 3D printing and CNC machining in various materials.
Formal qualifications are secondary to enthusiasm, ability to learn, and practical demonstrable experience. We are keen on promoting equality and diversity. The position is fixed-term till the end of June 21, likely extension to a permanent; competitive salary. The work will be performed at our Wellesbourne premises.
