Nick started his career in tech consulting at KPMG before seeing the light and jumping into the startup world.

Wai-chuen (CTO)

Following degrees in both Engineering and Design, Wai-chuen founded Metadrift (VR archive discovery) with Nick before starting Klydo together.

What the job involves

  • Collaborating across disciplines to create new product features with design and machine learning teams, from ideation to implementation. For example, you might build a kanban style board for organising research findings
  • Integrating with our existing backend and extending it. For example, you might modify our user data model to support a new personalisation feature and the API endpoints that go with it
  • Ensuring our platform is user friendly, performant and secure. For example, you might profile a sluggish UI component and optimise it
  • Understanding user needs and feedback to guide our product roadmap and technical decision making

Additional info about the role

  • We're looking for a Fullstack Engineer to drive the product development of our web app that helps our users surface powerful insights, powered by our creative AI engine
  • You’ll be responsible for multiple parts of the development of our platform, from architecture and security to performance and feature UX. You'll be adept at collaborating with other engineers and designers, with a focus on developing frontend features while being comfortable integrating with the backend

    - 45min Call with Wai-chuen (CTO)
    - 1-2hr Take-home task
    - 2hr Final interview
