What will this role involve?

As a Software Test Engineer within Oxford Heartbeat, you are an integral part of our agile product development team. You will be working alongside developers and product owners to ensure that we deliver consistent quality products to our customers. You will take the lead in designing thorough testing processes, functional testing, maintaining and writing new automated tests and coaching your colleagues on testing practices. You will be be creating test scenarios, testing functionalities, optimising the speed of tests running in our pipelines, and following up on issues found on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for checking whether the functionalities that have been built match the requirements.

Your technical expertise will be channelled towards something truly meaningful and cutting-edge. Must haves

  • Three years + of experience with software testing, for both online and offline software applications
  • Experience in test automation, API testing, and testing processes
  • Experience writing automated tests in C#/Python/Javascript/…
  • Experience with NUnit/Selenium/…
  • Advanced ISEB/ISTQB certification
  • Experience in leading test teams
  • Good communication and team working skills
  • At least 0.8 FTE availability
  • (Greater) London based

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Agile software development
  • Experience in the industry of healthcare
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with testing against international (ISO) standards
