As a Research Assistant at LettUs Grow, you will report directly to our Scientific Manager. In your role, you will be responsible for assisting with data collection and the running of experimental trials on the farm. You will be a part of the scientific team, helping with a large range of projects that tie in goals from across the company.
You can expect to be delegated responsibility at an early stage and will have a real opportunity to progress as the company scales. This role is ideal for a diligent, personable applicant who is keen to grow with an impact-led start-up.

To assist with ongoing research and experiments to improve plant growing systems
To help collect a high standard of data on plant development and environmental conditions.
Performing statistical analysis on the data to a moderate level.
To write scientific reports to a high standard
Work alongside the farm operations team, helping to maintain operational standards and complete farm tasks such as: sowing, harvesting and cleaning.
What you need:
A biological / plant sciences bachelor's degree
Experience using excel
Experience with other statistical software, such as R or SPSS
Experience with food safety and HACCP protocols
The position is a 6 month fixed term contract, is based in central Bristol and will benefit from training and external mentoring. Salary will be competitive to match experience, with the benefit of participating in an established employee share options scheme.
