A remote system to safely and accurately assess dangerous nuclear accident sites, and a new anti-ageing skin cream applicator, have been awarded the ERA Foundation Award to help the two technologies move out of their UK research labs and become reality.
SimOmics, a University of York spin-out backed by the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Enterprise Hub, has been awarded a £300,000 grant from nnovate UK to develop a ‘virtual laboratory’.
