Suhaib Arogundade
-
Technology: Carbonetrix construction sustainability AI-Assistant provides intelligent carbon management tools and real-time visual dashboards that help construction and infrastructure organisations reduce Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions throughout the project delivery phase. Our solutions break down complex carbon reporting standards (e.g., PAS 2080) into simplified insights, empowering teams to spot emission hotspots, reduce embodied carbon, and generate stakeholder-ready reports with ease.
-
Climate Impact: Carbonetrix is supporting the reduction of carbon emissions associated with construction process delivery which is currently set to grow to about 37.5 billion tCO₂e.
-
Current Ask: Carbonetrix currently seeks to partner with and support interested and forward-thinking construction organisations desirous of limiting the impact of the projects they deliver to enable them to achieve clients' carbon targets and their own net zero goals.
3. Delivering a Nature-Positive Future
Integrating climate, nature, and biodiversity to restore ecosystems and go beyond net zero.
Waterwhelm
Alireza Abbassi Monjezi
-
Technology: Waterwhelm’s solution achieves world’s LOWEST-EVER rate of electricity consumption and CO₂ emissions for water reuse and desalination. This proven technology is currently being commercially scaled up at two locations in the UK for industrial water reuse and undergoing a pilot project internationally for desalination.
-
Climate Impact: Addressing the increasing gap between water supplies and demands globally by making the production of freshwater from wastewater or saltwater affordable, accessible and sustainable.
-
Current Ask: The deployment of our proven solution at scale will unlock unprecedented opportunities. We ask all potential partners, investors and customers to join us in our journey to scale up this breakthrough technology.
LeafyColl
Ejaz Hussain
-
Technology: LeafyColl is pioneering the world’s first plant-expressed, animal-free collagen using fast-growing leafy greens to decarbonise and democratise collagen supply chains.
-
Climate Impact: Our solution avoids up to 43 kg of CO₂ per kg of collagen, replacing carbon-intensive animal and marine sources with a circular, plant-based system.
-
Current Ask: We have raised £200k and are raising the remainder of a £500k pre-seed round and are actively seeking formulation partners and commercial pilots in cosmetics and nutraceuticals.
4. Championing Cleantech Innovation
Deploying breakthrough technologies to accelerate the climate transition at scale.
Fibe
Idan Gal-Shohet
-
Technology: Fibe is developing mass-market textile fibres from agricultural residue, with the potential to double global natural fibre production.
-
Climate Impact: Backed by leading brand collaborations, our process uses up to 99% less water, no land, and is carbon negative compared to cotton.
-
Current Ask: We’re now opening our £3.2M seed round to build a demonstration plant and are actively seeking investors and brand partners to support our scale-up.
Evolutor
Joe Price
-
Technology: Evolutor uses unique microbe evolution technology to build new bacteria that can rapidly convert end-of-life tyres into new sustainable rubbers and advanced biomaterials.
-
Climate Impact: Evolutor's bacterial manufacturing closes the loop on tyre manufacturing. It has the potential to reduce the 38M tonnes of CO₂e/year from rubber manufacture, avoid 13M acres of tropical deforestation by 2030, and avoid 23M tonnes of CO₂e/year from waste tyre incineration.
-
Current Ask: Evolutor is seeking investors to join a £2.5M seed round, and seeking process & product development partners.
