Now entering its autumn 2025 intake, the programme supports some of the UK’s most promising scale-up leaders, founders and technologists whose pioneering companies are already gaining traction and demonstrating global potential. The new cohort brings together entrepreneurs tackling society’s most pressing challenges: from self-healing concrete that can transform the way we build, to AI-driven diagnostics that speed up cancer treatment, to inclusive technologies that empower visually impaired people to navigate the world independently. Collectively, they reflect the ambition, creativity, and determination at the heart of UK engineering and innovation.
Meet the New Cohort
- Dr Liz Zijing Li (MimiCrete) – developing self-healing concrete to extend the life of infrastructure and cut carbon emissions.
- Zahra Jawad (Creasallis) – leading a platform that enables antibody drugs to penetrate tumours more effectively, improving cancer treatment.
I’m most excited to learn from leading entrepreneurs, engineers and innovators to help scale Delta Fire’s firefighting technologies & solutions globally. - Dr Jordon Lewis King, CEO of Delta Fire Ltd
- Luca Mezossy-Dona (IONATE) – advancing smart transformers to make electricity grids more flexible, reliable, and renewable-ready.
- Aswin Doekhie (EnsiliTech) – pioneering ensilication, a breakthrough that keeps vaccines stable at room temperature, revolutionising global medicine delivery.
- Dr Benjamin White (Phlux Technology) – building a new generation of infrared sensor chips, unlocking advances in robotics, LiDAR, and communications.
- Kathryn Evans (Greenjets) – scaling quiet, efficient electric fan engines for drones and future air taxis, enabling sustainable aviation.
- Lluna Gallego (Vector Bioscience Cambridge) – developing nanoshuttles that deliver drugs directly to sick cells, improving precision in medicine.
- Richard Grainger (High Temperature Material Systems) – designing advanced ceramic composites for safer, lighter EV batteries.
- Pahini Pandya (Panakeia) – using AI to transform cancer diagnosis, delivering comprehensive biomarker insights in minutes.
- Dr Ruben Doyle (London Devices) – innovating surgical tools like SmartGauge to improve orthopaedic operations and reduce reliance on X-rays.
- Gokhan Mericliler (WeWALK) – co-founder of the Smart Cane, enhancing independence and mobility for blind and visually impaired people worldwide.
- Dr Hans Chan (Matoha Instrumentation) – creating fast, portable scanning devices to accelerate recycling and the circular economy.
- Jordon Lewis King (Delta Fire) – scaling greener firefighting technologies like the Attack nozzle, used across the UK and abroad.
- Ben Holland (Antiverse) – harnessing AI to design new antibodies in months, opening pathways to treatments for previously untreatable diseases.
I’m excited for the learning journey ahead, gaining insights from peer leaders, coaches, and mentors and to put that learning into action to grow as a leader while driving our company’s growth, bridging cutting-edge science and commercialisation.- Lluna Gallego, CEO of Vector Bioscience Cambridge
The hub has supported me since I started down a translational path and I am exceptionally proud to be part of it.- Ruben Doyle, Chief Technology Officer and Director of London Devices
