The Little Car Company hand builds junior cars that prestigious manufacturers such as Ferrari, Bugatti, and Aston Martin officially license. Head of Special Projects, Keno Mario-Ghae describes how: “Our business creates products that customers love being able to share their passion for cars with friends and their children.”
The junior cars are fully driveable scale versions of classic cars such as the Aston Martin DB5 and Ferrari Testa Rossa. While being a faithful reproduction the Little Car Company use an electric drivetrain, allowing different driving modes.
Keno Mario-Ghae is responsible for special projects, powertrain, software, and testing. He recognises that he is now leading a new business unit that is creating a new product category.
Keno recognises that: “developing as a leader and as person is a process that takes time and support.” He hopes that the Shott Scale Up Accelerator mentoring will help to provide external feedback on strengths and weaknesses and help him develop into a better leader.
So far Keno and his team have grown this new division and product category from scratch to being at a point of testing the market within a year. Over the next 12 months they will produce their first prototypes and develop their first product.
