Hassan Mahmudul is an Investment Manager at Future Planet Capital’s UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund (UKI2S), a strategic investment vehicle backed by the UK Government and national research councils. The fund focuses on early-stage investments in deep technology and life sciences ventures that originate from the UK’s leading research institutions. Hassan’s investment portfolio spans therapeutics, biotechnology, agritech, foodtech, and diagnostics. He began his career as one of the first employees at a Newcastle-based start-up. Prior to joining the venture capital industry, he founded and served as CEO of a venture-backed technology start-up. Hassan holds both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Biosciences from Durham University.
