Hugh Liddell is a Senior Investment Partner at the National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF) responsible for making direct investments, particularly related to AI and Autonomy, and informing fund of funds investments. Following over a decade of service in the British Army, Hugh transitioned to the private sector to enable early stage technology teams to collaborate with the national security community, leveraging both equity finance and non-dilutive grant funding before joining NSSIF in August 2024. Hugh holds an MA in Military and Security Studies from King’s College London and a First Class MA (Hons) in Mediaeval History from the University of St Andrews.
