Joana dos Reis is a Life Sciences investment manager at the Patient Capital Funds team at the British Business Bank (BBB). She is responsible for sourcing, evaluation, and execution of capital commitments into Life Sciences funds as well as fund portfolio management. Before joining BBB, Joana run a Life Science focused Investment network at MedCity. She has a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from UCL and an integrated Masters in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon. Her experience includes academic research & teaching, sourcing of investment opportunities, due diligence, portfolio management, and leadership.
