Sonia is an Investment Principal at bp Ventures, the corporate venture arm of bp, where she invests in early to growth-stage companies developing disruptive technologies across low-carbon energy sectors. Before joining bp, she was an investment manager at Triple Jump (Netherlands), where she managed a €400 million fund, backed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this role, she built a portfolio of venture capital and private equity funds and led direct investments in fintech platforms improving access to credit in emerging markets. Sonia was an Investment Fellow at the Grameen Foundation, where she worked with fintech, healthtech, agri-tech, and digital infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa. Sonia is a CFA charter holder.
