Torquil is an investor and venture builder focusing on biotech and MedTech in oncology. At Cancer Research Horizons, he sources and evaluates global seed-stage investment opportunities and supports entrepreneurial Cancer Research UK investigators to develop start-ups. Prior to joining Cancer Research Horizons in 2020, Torquil completed his BSc in pharmacology and PhD in the neurobiology of Duchenne muscular dystrophy in the brain and has published five papers
